Where the clock kept silently ticking to the hour

Its ticking kept on in coffee shops..

In hotel rooms

When I cooked

Visited old friends

Refused to watch TV

Got my dress altered

Walked through the memory lane

Visited with a colleague

Walked the streets

Or got ready for sleep

And one day it moved a minute closer to the hour.
